THE BACK YARD PARK IS OPEN COME HIT IT UP!!
If there’s a one thing to know about the Fehrle family, it’s that their love for one another and passion for snowboarding are second to none. From offering meals and a place to stay, to turning their backyard into a full-blown snowboard park, the Fehrle’s have always done what they can to support the snowboard community around them.
Unfortunately, at the start of this season, father Tony Fehrle blew out his knee competing along side his son Mikey during the Traffic Jam at Echo Mountain. Being a general contractor, Tony has since struggled to be able to do his job and provide for his family the way he has in the past. He will also be undergoing extensive knee surgery on February 8th.
Whether you know the Fehrle family or not, you are invited to join friends and family at their Backyard Park on Friday, February 12th for a session to benefit them in these hard times. It’s not a competition, just a bunch of riders getting together to have a good time and show our support to these great people.
Each rider is required to sign a waiver and is asked to contribute a minimum $10 donation that will go directly to the family. Please also feel free to bring a dish or beverage to pass. See you there!
